Medications- anti-malarials & any antibiotics

Tips:

· Bring a mosquito net and DEET spray.

· Don’t forget an adapter and a portable battery pack (The power went out frequently for hours on end so it came in handy)

· Bring a flashlight for when the electricity goes out

· Get a SIM card to use for data and to make calls. You’ll want a line here to call taxis, professors, and make plans. You can purchase either EcoNet or NetOne. NetOne is better for bundles where you can get Facebook, Instagram, Twitter for a low price. Ecocash is a form of mobile payment that can only be used with an EcoNet account. Depending on the economic standpoint, you might want ecocash for a form of payment.

· Do not hesitate to find out the best rate for USD to Bond. It is technically supposed to be 1:1 but there was a huge change in rate up to 1:5.
